The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan releases new details of the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan
Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, referring to the ceasefire agreement reached between the Afghan delegation and the Pakistani side in Doha, said that both parties, emphasizing their commitment to peace, mutual respect, and good neighborly relations, agreed that no attacks would be carried out against each other’s security forces, civilians, or infrastructure, and that all issues should be resolved through dialogue.
He added that it was decided neither country would take any hostile actions against the other and that there would be no support or facilitation for groups operating against the government of Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mujahid further noted that, in the future, with the mediation of Qatar and Turkey, a mechanism would be established to review mutual claims and ensure the implementation of the agreement. He also expressed appreciation to Qatar and Turkey for their efforts in helping reach this agreement.
