Defense Minister: No one will be allowed to violate Afghanistan’s territorial integrity or disrupt its security

Mawlawi Mohammad Yaqoob Mujahid, the Acting Minister of National Defense, said following the ceasefire agreement between Afghanistan and Pakistan in Doha that “no one will be allowed to violate Afghanistan’s territorial integrity or disrupt its security.”


Mr. Mujahid made these remarks today (Sunday, October 19) in an interview with the media.


On other side, the Minister of National Defense added that the war has been imposed on the people of Afghanistan, and the Islamic Emirate has no intention of engaging in conflict with any party.

Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid: U.S. drones enter Afghanistan’s airspace using Pakistan’s airspace

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, has said that U.S. drones enter Afghanistan’s airspace using Pakistan’s airspace. Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid stated that the Islamic Emirate’s negotiation team has also asked the Pakistani side not to allow its airspace to be used against Afghanistan. However, Zabihullah Mujahid added that the Pakistani side has gone back on its commitment in this regard.

In the end, the visiting team and delegation members expressed great happiness over H.E. Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani’s material and moral appreciation and considered it a great reassurance for the future, knowing that they have the attention and support of such leaders.

Mujahid’s reaction to Pakistan’s Defense Minister’s remarks: Khawaja Asif’s authority is limited to X

The spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that they will never respond to statements made by Khawaja Asif, as he holds no authority and his influence is limited to Twitter. Mr. Mujahid added: "We know that Pakistan does not want war, and even the political parties there are not in favor of conflict. Since they do not want war, we do not favor it either." These remarks by the Islamic Emirate’s spokesperson come after Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif recently made comments regarding the continuation of conflict with Afghanistan.
