Hamas calls on the international community: Pressure the Israeli occupation regime to adhere to the ceasefire

The Hamas movement has recently called on the international community and global actors involved in the Gaza issue to pressure the Israeli occupation regime to adhere to the ceasefire in the enclave.


According to TRT News, Turkey’s state-run media outlet, which reported the statement on Monday night (October 20), Hamas spokesperson Hazem Qassem said in a Telegram post that the movement remains committed to its obligations under the ceasefire.


However, he added that the handover of the remaining bodies of captives requires more equipment and resources for debris removal, due to the widespread destruction in the Gaza Strip.

Trump threatened the Nigerian government with military action

Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington

The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington. Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital. According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10. Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
