A Large Quantity of Narcotics Burned in Kunduz
Jumauddin Khaksar, spokesperson for the Kunduz Provincial Police Command, said that a large amount of narcotics seized by the Counter-Narcotics Forces over the past year was burned in the presence of Mawlawi Matiullah Saifullah, the Kunduz Police Chief, and several security officials.
According to him, the burned drugs included 42 kilograms of heroin, 110 kilograms of hashish, 1,264 kilograms of opium, 95 kilograms of methamphetamine, over 25,000 K tablets, 459 liters of alcoholic beverages, and 58 liters of fermented raisin wine.
