Security forces from the 2nd Company, 1st Battalion of the 10th Border Brigade under the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps conducted a targeted border operation, resulting in the arrest of 86 individuals, including 10 smugglers. The detainees were attempting to enter Iranian territory illegally through the “Do Ab” area of Gurlan District in Herat Province.

This operation was carried out to ensure border security, prevent human trafficking, and combat illegal crossings.

Meanwhile, the press office of the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps reported in another statement to Police Radio that six individuals were arrested on charges of illegal logging in Herat.

According to the report, during an operation conducted by the 1st Company, 6th Battalion of the 9th Border Brigade under the 207th Al-Farooq Army Corps, six people were detained in connection with illegal deforestation in the Ghurian District of Herat Province.
