The joint meeting of Palestinian groups in Cairo focused on the implementation of the ceasefire in Gaza and the management of the region after the war.

In the joint statement issued after the meeting, emphasis was placed on maintaining the ceasefire, supporting the decision to deploy temporary United Nations forces, and ensuring that the administration of Gaza is handed over to an independent Palestinian committee composed of local residents.

Sources reported, that the next meeting of the Palestinian groups is scheduled to be held again in Cairo within the next month.
