Afghanistan National Volleyball Team to Face Nepal in Central Asia Zone Championship

The Afghanistan national volleyball team will play against Nepal as part of the Central Asia Zone Volleyball Championship.


Officials from the Afghanistan Volleyball Federation announced that the match will start at 11:30 AM Kabul time.


This will be Afghanistan’s fourth match in the tournament. In their previous three games, the team recorded one victory and two losses against Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Turkmenistan.


Reports added, that the Central Asia Zone Volleyball Championship began last week in Bangladesh and is being held with the participation of six countries, including Afghanistan.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
