Afghanistan’s MMA Fighter Nosrat Haqparast Defeated in UFC Competition

Nosrat Haqparast, Afghanistan’s mixed martial arts (MMA) athlete, was defeated by an Australian opponent in a UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) event.


This evening (Saturday) in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Haqparast entered the fight cage and was defeated in the first round by Kilian Sallkild, the Australian fighter, via technical knockout (TKO).


Following this loss, Haqparast’s MMA record now stands at 18 wins and 6 losses.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
