Afghanistan’s National Volleyball Team Defeats Nepal

Atal Mashwani, spokesperson for the General Directorate of Physical Education and Sports, told Police Radio that the Afghanistan national volleyball team defeated Nepal in its fourth match of the Central Asia Championship with a score of 3–0.


He added that the Afghan team had previously played three matches—winning one against the Maldives and losing two to Sri Lanka and Turkmenistan.


According to the source, Afghanistan’s national team will play its fifth match on October 27 against the host nation, Bangladesh.

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has won the Asian Championship

Afghanistan’s national under-17 futsal team has become the champion of the 2025 Asian Youth Championship after defeating Iran. In the final match, Afghanistan’s U-17 futsal team triumphed over Iran with a score of 2–1, securing the gold medal in the tournament. Basically, this marks Afghanistan’s first-ever championship title in the history of the U-17 Asian Futsal competitions.
