Turkey is purchasing Typhoon fighter jets worth 10.7 billion dollars from the United Kingdom

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer signed a bilateral cooperation agreement on “Eurofighter Typhoon” fighter jets yesterday (Monday, October 27) in Ankara.


According to Turkish media reports, under this agreement, Turkey will purchase 20 “Typhoon” fighter jets from the United Kingdom at a total value of 10.7 billion dollars.


Following the signing of the agreement, President Erdoğan stated that Turkey aims to increase bilateral trade volume with the United Kingdom to 40 billion dollars and further strengthen economic relations.

Trump threatened the Nigerian government with military action

Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington

The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington. Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital. According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10. Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
