The leaders of the two countries have begun talks in South Korea
Amid escalating trade tensions between Washington and Beijing, U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping have begun talks in South Korea.
According to a Reuters report, the discussions between Trump and Xi are currently taking place behind closed doors in Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
It is worth noting that the leaders of the United States and China are meeting for the first time in six years to discuss a possible agreement to end the trade war between the world’s two largest economies.
