The United States and India have signed a ten-year defense cooperation agreement


Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Defense, announced on his Twitter page that he has signed a ten-year defense cooperation agreement with his Indian counterpart, Rajnath Singh.


Hegseth described this agreement as a significant step in the defense cooperation between the two countries.

Trump threatened the Nigerian government with military action

U.S. President Donald Trump, in response to what he described as the massacre of Christians in Nigeria, has warned the Nigerian government that Washington may cut aid and cooperation, and that U.S. military forces could be deployed to Nigeria. Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington

The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington. Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital. According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10. Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
