Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington
The U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, has said that Syrian President Ahmed Shar’ah is expected to visit Washington.
Reuters reported that this would be the first visit of a Syrian leader to the U.S. capital.
According to a White House official, the visit is expected to take place around November 10.
Meanwhile, Syrian officials have also stated that the visit is anticipated within the next two weeks.
