The High Commission for Refugees (HCR) Secretariat reported that yesterday, 1,456 families, totaling 7,998 individuals, returned to Afghanistan through Spin Boldak in Kandahar, Islam Qala in Herat, and Warashku in Nimroz, and were provided with essential services.


According to the commission’s report, out of these families, 853 were relocated to various provinces, and nearly AFN 7.4 million was provided for transportation costs. Additionally, cash assistance of approximately AFN 8.6 million was distributed among 1,041 families.


Furthermore, the returnees received 17,430 food rations, clean water, and 949 SIM cards, and 731 individuals were provided with healthcare services.
