Meeting of Seven Islamic Countries in Istanbul: Formation of an International Peacekeeping Force in Gaza Discussed
Foreign ministers from seven Arab and Muslim-majority countries held a meeting in Istanbul, Turkey, to discuss the possibility of forming an international peacekeeping force in the Gaza Strip.
Al Jazeera reported on Monday night (November 3) about the meeting.
According to the report, the foreign ministers of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Pakistan, and Indonesia attended the meeting. One of the main objectives of the gathering was to bring these countries closer together in their efforts to establish such a force.
