Sohail Afridi, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has said in his recent remarks that the Pakistani army used to tie dogs inside mosques in the tribal areas and tell the people, “You and these dogs have the same worth.”

While criticizing the Pakistani army’s military operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal regions, he added that many civilians are killed during these operations and that such actions by the army constitute war crimes.

On other side, Afridi also stated that as a result of these operations, Pashtun women are subjected to disrespect.
