Russia: The situation in Afghanistan has improved in every respect
Sergei Shoigu, Secretary of Russia’s Security Council, told members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) that in recent times the level of drug trafficking from Afghanistan to CSTO member states has significantly decreased.
Shoigu, referring to the current situation in Afghanistan, said that positive changes have taken place there and that this progress should continue.
That is while, since the return to power of the Islamic Emirate, rapid efforts have been made to combat narcotics alongside establishing full security, and regional countries now acknowledge this as a reality.
