Pakistan’s exports to Afghanistan have increased by 54 percent
Sources from Pakistan’s Ministry of Commerce have reported that bilateral trade between Pakistan and Afghanistan in October this year fell by 54 percent compared to the same period last year.
According to the statistics, this represents a 36 percent decline compared to September.
The sources added that Pakistan’s exports to Afghanistan decreased by 28 percent in September, resulting in an annual decline of 55 percent.
Meanwhile, videos circulated on social media show that access to vegetables, in addition to fruits, is also limited for people on the other side of the Durand Line, and residents in various areas have protested against the Pakistani regime due to unemployment.
It is notable, Public opinion holds that Afghanistan is currently one of the most suitable markets for Pakistani exports, but with the repeated closure of trade routes, Pakistan has lost this important market.
