Donald Trump gave the President of Venezuela a one-week deadline to leave his country
Reuters, citing reliable sources in the White House, has reported that U.S. President Donald Trump gave Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro a one-week deadline to leave the country during a telephone conversation.
The call, which took place on 21 November, came after Trump announced a complete closure of Venezuela’s airspace.
According to the report, Maduro requested full amnesty for himself and his family, as well as the lifting of sanctions against Venezuelan officials. However, Trump rejected most of these demands.
Additionally, after the deadline expired, Trump announced that Venezuela’s airspace had been fully shut down.
