The United Nations adopted two resolutions regarding Palestine and the occupied Golan Heights
The United Nations General Assembly adopted two important resolutions concerning Palestine and the occupied Golan Heights.
The resolutions called for ending the occupation, preventing Israeli settlement construction, and supporting a two-state solution.
The resolution on the occupied Golan Heights was passed with 123 votes in favor, 7 against, and 44 abstentions, while the resolution concerning Palestine was approved with broad support from 142 countries.
Although these resolutions are not legally binding, they send a clear political message of international support.
