Putin arrived in India on an official visit
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, is traveling to India today (December 4, 2025) for a two-day official visit.
The purpose of this trip is said to be the further strengthening of strategic relations between the two countries.
According to the Kremlin, during this visit Putin will hold formal and informal meetings with India’s Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and will sign 10 government documents and more than 15 trade agreements.
The Kremlin added that Putin will participate in the Russia–India Business Forum, deliver a press address, and also visit the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi.
It has also been stated that Putin will be accompanied on this trip by seven ministers, senior officials, and representatives of major Russian companies.
