Maulavi Noor Jalal Jalali met with Mehdi Pirsalehi
Maulavi Noor Jalal Jalali, the Minister of Public Health, met in his office with Mehdi Pirsalehi, the Deputy Minister of Health and head of Iran’s Food and Drug Administration.
During the meeting, which focused on expanding cooperation in the health sector between the two countries, Maulvi Noor Jalal Jalali stated that new agreements will be signed with Iran on the import and production of medicines, standardizing traditional medicine, using Iranian laboratories as a third-party reference for precise drug testing, and capacity-building.
On other side, the Iranian Deputy Minister of Health also assured Afghanistan of his country’s readiness to expand comprehensive cooperation in the health and pharmaceutical sectors.
