Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper, quoting exporters, industrialists and traders, reported that they are losing more than $4 million a day due to the closure of trade routes with Afghanistan.

Pakistani traders said Pakistan is rapidly losing its markets in Afghanistan and Central Asia because of the continued closure of commercial routes.

Meanwhile, the Islamic Emirate’s spokesman, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, said that trade routes with Pakistan would only be reopened once strong and reliable guarantees are provided by the Pakistani government.
