Officials from the press office of the Balkh Provincial Governor's Office announced in a statement that 55 new telecommunications sites will be established and made operational in the center and districts of Balkh province this year.
According to the officials, this decision was made during a meeting between the Minister of Telecommunications and the Governor of Balkh, Mr. Mullah Mohammad Yusuf Wafa. The goal of this initiative is to expand telecommunications services in the remote areas of Balkh and connect important routes, including from Hairatan, to the telecommunications network.
