Concrete Paving of a Road Begun in Mazar-e-Sharif at a Cost of 6.5 Million Afghanis
As part of efforts to modernize the city and improve public welfare, concrete paving work has begun on the Kart-e-Zoharuddin Faryabi road in District 4 of Mazar-e-Sharif. according to reports, The project, funded with 6.5 million Afghanis from the municipality’s development budget, covers a length of 385 meters and a width of 11 meters.
Preparatory work—including roadbed construction, installation of lighting poles, and building of side drainage systems—has been completed. The concrete paving is now underway under the supervision of assigned municipal engineers. The project has also created daily employment opportunities for several local residents.
This road construction is being implemented by the Khorshid-e-Watan Construction and Road Building Company in accordance with contract specifications and engineering standards.
On other side, the road will significantly improve transportation and mobility for vehicles and residents in the area.
