Budget of Tens of Millions of Afghanis Approved for 100-Bed Hospital in Panjshir
Officials in Panjshir province announced that, through the efforts of the provincial leadership and under the patronage of His Highness Amir al-Mu'minin (Hafizullah), a budget of 148 million Afghanis has been approved for the construction of a 100-bed hospital.
Mean while, Saifuddin Laton, spokesperson for the governor of Panjshir, told Police Radio that the hospital will be built in Baharak, near the provincial center, and will have three floors.
According to Mr. Laton, the hospital will include departments such as general surgery, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, eye and ear treatment, as well as specialized operating rooms, a pharmacy, X-ray facilities, waiting rooms for patients, and other essential amenities.
