The construction of two concrete roads in the 8th district of Jalalabad city officially began today. These roads are being built through the efforts of the Jalalabad Municipality, with financial support from the World Bank and technical cooperation from UNOPS.

The project inauguration took place during a large-scale meeting.

Additionally, the two roads each have a width of 5 meters and a total length of 1600 meters. It is expected that the roads will be completed and handed over for use within approximately three months.

According to officials, the cost of concreting these roads is estimated at 14.5 million Afghanis.
