Four Projects Worth 32 Million Afghanis Launched in Ghazni
Dr. Mawlavi Siddiqullah Sabawoon, spokesperson for Ghazni province, announced the launch of four development projects in the central areas of Districts 1, 4, and 5. These projects include the construction of three roads and one retaining wall.
According to Mr. Sabawoon, the total cost of the projects exceeds 32 million Afghanis, and funded by the World Bank, with technical implementation carried out by (UNOPS) in collaboration with the Ghazni Municipality.
Meanwhile, the roads will have a combined length of 1,200 meters and a width of 7 meters. The retaining wall will be 500 meters long, 4 meters high, and 1.5 meters wide. Additionally, the projects have created job opportunities for around 400 local workers.
