A Dairy Processing Factory Established in Laghman
A dairy processing factory worth 33,000 (US) dollars has been inaugurated in Alingar district of Laghman province.
The factory was launched with technical support from the Dutch Committee for Afghanistan and financial backing from the European Union. It has officially begun operations with the capacity to process 500 liters of milk per day.
According to available information, the facility is expected to significantly contribute to local dairy production and support farmers in the area.
However, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Alingar district governor Qari Noorulhadi Sareem, Khalil Siddiqi—an expert from the Department of Economy monitoring non-governmental organizations, representatives from the Directorate of Agriculture, and officials from the Dutch Committee.
