Nangarhar Governor Inaugurates 21-Kilometer Ring Road Project in Jalalabad
The Governor of Nangarhar officially inaugurated the construction of a 21-kilometer ring road in Jalalabad city, with a total budget of approximately 3 billion Afghanis.
Based on reports, currently, work is underway on a 3.8-kilometer stretch of the road, extending from Sorkhab Bridge to Behsud Bridge, with a width of 40 meters. Subsequent phases—Phase II and Phase III—are planned to be executed on schedule.
This modern roadway will feature four traffic lanes on each side, two major bridges, canals, and other related infrastructure.
On other side, at the inauguration ceremony, the mayor of Jalalabad stated that the project is being implemented through the municipality’s revenue, technical team, labor force, and machinery.
