With the aim of promoting economic growth, facilitating transportation, and supporting the standard development of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the asphalt paving of the second layer of the road surrounding the Hairatan intersection and its three connecting routes has officially begun. The ceremony was attended by Ustad Mohammad Javid Mayar, the Director of Sectoral and Technical Affairs of the Municipality.

This project includes the paving of 10,000 square meters of road with widths of 14 and 8 meters around the intersection, the construction of the Hairatan roundabout, installation of central road dividers, road marking, construction and installation of lighting poles, and other features of a standard road. The total cost of the project is 26 million Afghanis, funded by the development budget of the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality.

The project spans a length of 120 meters and will provide daily employment opportunities for 40 individuals.
