Construction of a Secondary Road Begins in 6 District of Mazar-e-Sharif at a Cost of 7 Million Afghanis
As part of efforts to promote the development and standardization of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the Municipality of Mazar-e-Sharif, with financial support from the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), has launched the construction (concreting) of a secondary road in the 5th block of District 6.
The road will be concreted after the completion of foundational work.
The secondary road is 600 meters long and 5.7 meters wide, and the project provides daily employment for 105 local residents.
Reports added, the project also includes the construction of drainage ditches and sidewalks, with all construction expected to be completed within two months.
