The First Layer of Asphalt Paving Has Started on the Road from Ferdowsi Crossroad to Kamgar Crossroad in Mazar-e-Sharif City
The road patching works from Ferdowsi Crossroad to Kamgar Crossroad, currently ongoing in the 7th and 10th districts of Mazar-e-Sharif municipality, have completed brushing, digging, removal of damaged asphalt, and base preparation. The first layer of asphalt paving has now started under the supervision of the municipality’s appointed engineers.
It is noteworthy that this project covers patching of 640 meters of roads across twelve districts of Mazar-i-Sharif city and is funded by the municipality’s development budget at a cost of 5.5 million Afghanis.
Meanwhile, Engineer Noorullah Mahmand, the project’s supervising engineer, stated that 70% of the road patching project in Mazar-e-Sharif’s twelve districts has been completed, and the project currently provides daily employment for 70 residents.
