7 thousand kg of Wheat Sold Through Transparent Auction in Rodat District
The Media Office of the Nangarhar Department of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock reports that 7 thousand kg of wheat were sold through an open and transparent auction in the presence of a joint delegation in Rodat District, under the management of the district's Ushr (alms) department.
According to the source, the mentioned wheat had been collected by agents from farmers in various villages of Rodat District.
Based on the information, eleven traders participated in the auction, with a trader named Sadaqat offering the highest price of 180 Afghanis per man. He was declared the winner by the joint delegation.
In all districts of Nangarhar province, wheat collected from farmers as Ushr and Zakat—according to official procedures—is auctioned transparently and the revenue is deposited into the treasury of the Emirate.
