Construction of Two Roads Begins in Mazar-e-Sharif
To support the city's development and improve public services, the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality, in cooperation with the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), has launched the construction of two concrete roads in the four District of the city.
Mayor Hafiz Abdul Rahman Hemat stated that the project includes the construction of Bagh-e-Huzur Road and the Kababiyan side road, with a total length of 200 meters and a width of 5.8 meters.
Additionally, it involves 190 meters of sidewalk tiling and canal construction. The project is expected to be completed and ready for use within two months.
The contractor also committed to implementing the project according to contract standards and specifications, adding that the project will create daily employment opportunities for around 100 local residents.
