Distribution of Food Aid to 50 Needy Families in Balkh
The Counter-Narcotics Department of the Balkh Police Command has distributed food aid to 50 needy families who were identified among beggars.
According to the reports, these families had previously been surveyed and recognized as eligible by the Afghan Red Crescent Society. The distributed aid included flour, rice, oil, macaroni, sugar, tea, tomato paste, soap, dishwashing liquid, and 200 Afghanis in cash for each person.
Meanwhile, the recipients expressed satisfaction with the assistance and called on the government to continue providing similar support.
