As part of ongoing efforts by the Balkh Department of Industry and Commerce to attract foreign investment, a group of Uzbek investors has expressed interest in investing in the “Ash Magi” cement mines in the province.

Additionally, this initiative falls within the framework of regional economic cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan and reflects the growing commercial engagement between the two neighboring countries.
