In Nangarhar province, concrete paving work has begun on 1.8 kilometers of road in District 8 of Jalalabad city, with a total cost of 15.7 million Afghanis.

Engineer Wahidullah Mukhlis, Head of Sectoral Affairs at Jalalabad Municipality, stated during the inauguration ceremony that the concrete paving of two roads—located in neighborhoods 31 and 35 of District 8—has officially started. The project spans 1.8 kilometers in length and varies from 4 to 6.3 meters in width, with a total budget of 15.7 million Afghanis.

According to him, the project is funded by the UNOPS organization and is expected to provide job opportunities for around 2,000 individuals.
