Local officials in Herat province have announced the completion and inauguration of a small water retention dam (check dam) in Tapa-Gaz village of Adraskan district.

Additionally, the project was funded by the budget of the Islamic Emirate at a cost of 2,789,315 Afghanis. The dam stands 3 meters high, stretches 24 meters in length, and has the capacity to store 5,000 cubic meters of water.
