Officials from the Herat Municipality have announced the official launch of a project to install electric equipment and lighting systems along the city’s main roads.

According to the municipality’s press office, the project covers various public streets throughout the city, including Imam Muslim 33rd Road, the 64-meter road extending west of the 22-meter street, the route from Mawlawi Tank Roundabout to Pul-e-Jabrail, from in front of the passenger terminal to the customs exit gate, from the trailer terminal to the former Kabul Bank roundabout, as well as roads in districts 4, 5, 6, 12, and 13 of the city.
