Construction of 7 Development Projects Begins in Samangan Province
Local authorities in Samangan province announced today (Monday, August 11) that the construction of seven development projects has officially started in the city of Aybak, the provincial capital, and Khuram-Sarabagh district.
Based on reports, these projects include the construction of a retaining wall, water canal, water reservoir, culvert, and the digging of shallow wells (locally known as "Taranj").
Additionally, the total cost exceeds 16.5 million Afghanis and is being funded by the World Food Programme (WFP) in collaboration with the CHA organization.
The implementation of these projects is expected to provide employment opportunities for 708 individuals.
