Bridge Reconstructed in Karkh District of Herat
Officials from the Herat Directorate of Disaster Preparedness said, that a bridge in Badamtu village, Karkh district, will has been rebuilt at a cost of one million Afghanis and is now operational.
According to the directorate, the project is part of the National Programme for the Reconstruction of Damaged Infrastructure, funded under a decree of the Amir al-Mu’minin, Sheikh al-Hadith Hibatullah Akhundzada. The programme aims to improve rural infrastructure, facilitate public transportation, and reduce the difficulties caused by damage to roads and bridges as a result of natural disasters.
