Mufti Mohammad Yousuf Saeedi, spokesperson for the Herat governor’s office reported, that Catley Weibell, head of the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in Afghanistan, met with Sheikh Mawlana Islamjar, the governor of Herat.

According to Saeedi, during the meeting, the UNOPS country director discussed ongoing projects as well as those planned to be launched in the province in the future.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Mawlana Islamjar, the governor of Herat, expressed appreciation for UNOPS activities in the province and emphasized that Herat hosts both returning refugees and climate migrants, who are in need of greater attention.
