Armal, Director of Public Relations at Herat Municipality, stated that the substructure work for the asphalt project of the northern section of the road from Karizak Bridge to Shedaie Bazaar, located in District 15, is in progress.

The project covers 2,200 meters in length and 8 meters in width, with an estimated cost of around 27 million Afghanis, funded through the developmental budget of Herat Municipality. The work is being implemented rapidly by a contracted company.
