In continuation of efforts to attract support for Afghan nationals returning from Pakistan, a coordination meeting was held with the participation of officials from the Nangarhar Directorate of Economy, Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation, OCHA, and several other governmental bodies.

During the meeting, Mr. Fateh, Head of the Nangarhar Economy Directorate, discussed in detail the challenges faced by returnees and the need to secure assistance for them. He called on all governmental and non-governmental institutions to provide help and support to the returning families.

Representatives from the Directorate of Refugees and Repatriation shared data on the number of returnees and outlined their urgent needs, requesting support in various sectors.

It is worth mentioning that the process of deporting Afghan refugees from Pakistan has once again accelerated.
