Road Widening and Asphalt Project Launched at a Cost of 13.6 Million Afghanis in Mazar-e-Sharif
Officials from Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality announced that the practical work on widening and asphalting the road surrounding Ferdowsi Square has begun. The project covers an area of 9,025 square meters and is being funded through the municipality’s development budget at a cost of 13.6 million Afghanis.
Based on the reports, the project includes excavation and removal of damaged asphalt, road widening, construction of drainage canals, roadbed preparation, lane marking, and other standard roadwork. The construction is scheduled to be completed within 70 working days and handed over for public use.
