The concreting work on the western road of the Old Prison (Cultural Park) has started in Mazar-e-Sharif
Officials from the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality said today (Tuesday, September 11) that the concreting of the western road of the Cultural Park (Old Prison) in District 3 of Mazar-e-Sharif city, the capital of Balkh province, has begun with a budget of 3 million Afghanis from the municipality’s development fund.
Mohammad Javid Mayar, Head of the Sectoral and Technical Department of the Mazar-e-Sharif Municipality, stated that the road is 350 meters long, 8 meters wide, and costs 3 million Afghanis. According to him, the road is expected to be completed and inaugurated within two working months.
On other side, municipality officials emphasized that public support and cooperation play a key role in advancing development programs. They expressed gratitude to the residents and stressed their commitment to continue such projects to turn Mazar-e-Sharif into a standard and livable city for all its inhabitants.
