Work has started on the construction of Karte Solh “M” road, located behind apartment blocks in District 7 of Mazar-e-Sharif. The project, funded through the municipality’s development budget, covers a 500-metre stretch with a width of 8 metres and is valued at 5.5 million Afghanis.

That is while, the scheme includes excavation, earth removal, drainage channels, roadbed preparation, concrete surfacing and other standard roadwork. Officials say the project is scheduled to be completed and opened within 80 working days.
