Mazar-e-Sharif municipality said, it has started work on 30 development projects in the current year, with a budget of 571 million Afghanis aimed at improving urban services, city development and public welfare.

The projects include asphalting, concreting and gravelling roads, building drainage canals, street lighting and decoration, expanding green spaces, constructing small steel bridges, installing metal fences, tiling, painting and renovating sidewalks across districts, as well as constructing a fully equipped administrative building for District 7. Road repairs and resurfacing are also part of the program.
