With the support of Hand-in-Hand Organization, the Balkh Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock provided practical training on row-based saffron cultivation and harvesting to 50 farmers in Shahrak Turkmeniya, Ota Qul, and Siyahgird areas of Nahr-e-Shahi district.

Additionally, the training program was conducted to enable farmers to cultivate and manage saffron in a standardized way, so they can achieve better and higher yields from this sector in the future.
